Traslado del subsidio estatal al usuario final en el Punto de Ingreso al Sistema de Transporte.
El 29 de agosto de 2024, se publicó en el Boletín Oficial la Resolución N° 232 de la Secretaría de Energía (la «Resolución»). La Resolución establece el precio del gas en el Punto de Ingreso al Sistema de Transporte (PIST) que será trasladado a los usuarios finales.
Este precio se aplicará a los contratos vigentes en el marco del «Plan Gas.Ar». Las empresas productoras, distribuidoras y subdistribuidoras de gas natural deben adecuar sus contratos en un plazo de 5 días hábiles.

Transfer of the state subsidy to the end user at the Point of Entry to the Transportation System.
On August 29, 2024, Resolution 232 of the Energy Secretariat (the “Resolution”) was published in the Official Gazette. The Resolution establishes the price of gas at the Point of Entry to the Transportation System (PIST) that will be passed on to end users.
This price will be applied to the contracts in force under the “Gas.Ar Plan”. Natural gas producing, distributing and sub-distributing companies must adjust their contracts within 5 working days.

Nuevos precios, tarifas y remuneración para el Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista.
El 29 de agosto de 2024, se publicaron en el Boletín Oficial las Resoluciones 233 y 234 de 2024 de la Secretaría de Energía (las «Resoluciones»). Las Resoluciones establecen los precios, tarifas y remuneraciones del Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista y del Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista del Sistema Tierra del Fuego para el período comprendido entre el 1° de septiembre y el 31 de octubre de 2024.
Se actualizan el Precio Estabilizado de la Energía, el Precio de Referencia de la Potencia y el Precio Estabilizado del Transporte, que deben reflejar los costos reales de producción y servir como base para los cuadros tarifarios de los distribuidores de electricidad.
Se reemplazan los Anexos de la Resolución 193/2024 para adecuar los precios y tarifas del sector. El nuevo Precio Spot máximo se establece en $10.086/MWh.

New prices, tariffs and remuneration for the Wholesale Electricity Market.
On August 29, 2024, Resolutions 233 and 234 of 2024 of the Secretariat of Energy (the “Resolutions”) were published in the Official Gazette. The Resolutions set the
prices, tariffs and remunerations of the Wholesale Electricity Market and the Wholesale Electricity Market of the Tierra del Fuego System for the period from September 1 to October 31, 2024.
The Stabilized Price of Energy, the Reference Price of Power and the Stabilized Price of Transportation, which must reflect the real costs of production and serve as a basis for the tariff charts of electricity distributors, are updated.
The Annexes of Resolution 193/2024 are replaced to adjust the prices and tariffs of the sector. The new maximum Spot Price is set at AR$10,086/MWh.

pública para modificación de normas NAG-602 y NAG-301.
El 29 de agosto de 2024, se publicó en el Boletín Oficial la Resolución 487/2024 del ENARGAS (la «Resolución»). La Resolución convoca a una consulta pública para revisar y actualizar las normas NAG-602 y NAG-301, que establecen las especificaciones de calidad para el transporte y la distribución de gas natural, así como los requisitos para los artefactos a gas.
La propuesta de modificación, presentada por el Instituto Argentino del Petróleo y del Gas (IAPG), busca ampliar los límites del Índice de Wobbe (IW) y el Poder Calorífico Superior (PCS) para adaptarse a la producción de gas no convencional en la Cuenca Neuquina, lo cual es crucial para reducir la dependencia del gas importado y asegurar un suministro energético constante.
La modificación propuesta también incluye la incorporación de requisitos para la inyección de combustibles gaseosos renovables, como biometano e hidrógeno, en los sistemas de transporte y distribución, en línea con los compromisos nacionales de transición energética.
Finalmente, la Resolución establece un plazo de quince días para la presentación de comentarios y observaciones por parte de los interesados, los cuales no serán vinculantes.

Public call for modification of standards NAG-602 and NAG-301.
On August 29, 2024, Resolution 487/2024 of ENARGAS (the “Resolution”) was published in the Official Gazette and became effective. The Resolution calls for a public consultation to review and update standards NAG-602 and NAG-301, which establish quality specifications for the transportation and distribution of natural gas, as well
as requirements for gas appliances.
The proposed amendment, submitted by the Argentine Institute of Oil and Gas (IAPG), seeks to expand the Wobbe Index (WI) and Higher Calorific Value (HQ) limits to accommodate unconventional gas production in the Neuquén Basin, which is crucial to reduce dependence on imported gas and ensure a constant energy supply.
The proposed amendment also includes the incorporation of requirements for the injection of renewable gaseous fuels, such as biomethane and hydrogen, into the transportation and distribution systems, in line with national energy transition commitments.
Finally, the Resolution establishes a period of fifteen days for the submission of comments and observations by interested parties, which will not be binding.
